Abstract

|
Diabetic neuropathy is a complex disorder in which the disease process may affect different sets of nerve fibers to different degrees. Complicated clinical symptoms and signs that related with diabetic neuropathy can make serious functional problems and deterioration of quality of life. The aim of this review is to provide a general understanding of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. It will focus on aspects of epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, and especially office-based diagnosis and managements.
